Portrait Commission Information So you're keen to get a portrait done but you dont know exactly what you want. Bruce will be able to give you an estimate on price when you know what you are after. Step 1 Choose the style of artwork you would like your portrait to be done in. The image to the right is of the Beatles done in a semi sketch silhouette style, this is a more affordable option than a fully detailed portrait like the Wizard shown in step 2 for instance....[enquire]
STEP 2 Consider your budget as this can help Bruce to come up with a quote on the finished artwork that will fit in with what you can afford. The image to the right is of John Lennon, it is a more stylised version of a portrait and price-wise is a more affordable version than the fully detailed Wizard portrait yet more detailed than the Beatles example....[enquire]
STEP 3 What size painting or sketch are you hoping to get? Again this can affect the price of the artwork, if you have a specific space to fill, then Bruce can either come and see you and give you an idea of what would work in that space (If you are local of course!) or alternately you can just give him the measurements required to work his quote from. The image to the right is the Wizard, which is an example of one of Bruce's highly detailed artworks....[enquire]
STEP 4 Would you like the artwork to be on canvas or paper and how would you like it finished? This means things like framing or what you want your artwork created on. Obviously framing adds to the price as Bruce would need to out source the framing materials and work. Bruce likes his artwork to be framed properly and always uses a professional framer to do this. You can always choose to frame your new artwork yourself but please let Bruce know if you intend to do so....[enquire]
